Description 

The background of the research group is inherently multi-disciplinary. The research activity focuses on the quantification and improvement of the performances of thermo-hydraulic industrial and building plants. The following research topics have been faced so far:
1. Management and energy recovery of waste heat in industrial and civil applications.
2. Plant type identification for urban waste management.
3. CFD analysis of equipment for thermal-hydraulic applications.
4. CFD analysis of the performance of ventilation plants in indoor spaces.
The research group has just started an experimental activity on the characterization of thermal-hydraulic equipments.
