Control@UniTS
Description
The Control@UniTS group has a long-established tradition of education, research and innovative solutions in the areas of Automation, Modelling and Simulation. The staff includes a full professor (Thomas Parisini), an associate professor (Felice Andrea Pellegrino), an assistant professor (Gianfranco Fenu) and an assistant professor non-tenure track (Erica Salvato). Their expertise covers the following areas: Industrial Automation, Model Identification, Fault-Diagnosis, Distributed Optimization and Learning, and Data-driven Control.
Application fields include Robotics and vision for smart manufacturing, Water and transportation networks, and Particle accelerators.
The professors of the staff have been members of the Editorial Boards of the leading control journals. Over the years, the group has participated in several projects funded by EU Research Programme and by the Italian Research Ministry. The lab carried out also several industrial research projects funded by: Danieli & C. S.p.A., ELECTROLUX S.P.A.
Keyword 1: data-driven model predictive and model free control
Keyword 2: robotics and vision for smart manufacturing
Keyword 3: resilient multi-agent systems
Keyword 4: fault-diagnosis
Keyword 5: cybersecurity of large-scale distributed systems
