Description of the research group

The line of research refers to two branches of representation: on the one hand, the events linked to the history and evolution of methods of representation, on the other, the use of advanced technologies for the study of the relationship between form and structure.

The fields of application of perspective, stereotomy and gnomonics belong to the first strand. The second area of research, using cutting-edge tools for surveying (3D laser scanners and photogrammetry) and 3D parametric modeling, aims to renew ancient construction techniques through digital fabrication.
