Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste (www.elettra.eu)

We are organizing at our site in Trieste, Italy, a school on TANGO Controls, a free and open source software framework for distributed control systems. TANGO is used in many European large experimental physics facilities and is developed collaboratively by an international community of research institutions. The school will give 15 students a general overview of the TANGO framework and the fundamentals to be able to develop software applications in the TANGO environment.

The school will be held at our laboratory in Trieste, Italy, on 4-8 July, 2016.
